Ole Miss sits down with its four female head coaches to talk life, sports, and society

OXFORD, Miss. -- This Wednesday, February 6, marks the 33rd annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The event celebrates females in all elements of athletics, from accounting, fundraising, marketing, event management, academics, and of course, players and coaches. The Rebels are proud to boast four women in leadership roles as head coaches, and we sat down with them to discuss their thoughts about life, sports and how they're impacting society today.

This roundtable panel features first-year head coach at Ole Miss Yolett McPhee-McCuin, the first black female head coach in Rebel women's basketball history, women's golf coach Kory Henkes, who guided the Rebels to their first NCAA Championship berth in program history, eight-time National Championship coach Marsha Beasley with rifle, and four-time Olympian Connie Price-Smith, one of six females in the Power-5 in charge of a combined men's and women's track & field program.

These are their thoughts and their stories, and we are proud to join them in celebration.
