A look back at the top-5 moments from 2018-19

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss Rifle had another memorable season, including numerous personal and team accomplishments. The Rebels finished with six wins, two Great America Rifle Conference Honorable Mention performers, and a fourth-place regular season finish. Here is review of the top-5 moments from 2018-19.
 
5) Fans set attendance mark
 
Fans packed the Ole Miss Rifle Range averaging more than 60 during five home matches. A record 94 spectators came and went throughout the day during the regular season finale against Nebraska on Feb. 2. Ole Miss won the match 4665-4651.
 
4) Jillian Zakrzeski fires a 595 (twice) in air rifle
 
Freshman Jillian Zakrzeski broke out in a big way in her first collegiate season. She finished the year with junior Hayley Carroll as honorable mention athletes on the All-GARC Air Rifle team. Zakrzeski also led the team in air rifle (589.7) and aggregate (1165.3) average. Her 595 air rifle totals on Oct. 13 and Nov. 17 tied for fourth most in program history.  
 
3) Ole Miss reaches No. 7 in the CRCA rankings
 
The Rebels boasted their second-highest rating in school history in 2018-19. Ole Miss spent three weeks at No. 7 in the College Rifle Coaches Association rankings after earning 4685 points – the second most in program history – on Jan. 13. Ole Miss' previous best rating followed a sixth-place finish at the 2006 NCAA Rifle Championships.  
 
2) Randi Loudin records a perfect prone 200
 
Senior Randi Loudin attained a coveted milestone for any rifle athlete. The Post Falls, Idaho product registered a perfect prone 200 with 20 center shots on Jan. 12. She was the first Rebel to accomplish the rare feat. Loudin became at least the 15th Ole Miss athlete to reach 200 in the smallbore event, owning eight of those scores.
 
1) Rebels earn 4685 points – two off program record
 
Ole Miss obtained an impressive 4685 points in a win over Akron, Jan. 13. The score was two away from the all-time mark set in January 2018. The Rebels also recorded 4665 points three times and a 4664 twice in 2018-19. In total, Ole Miss rewrote nine of the top-20 scores in the record book.
