Volleyball Unveils 2019 Home Schedule

Rebels begin fall campaign hosting three in the Rebel Invitational
OXFORD, Miss. โ ย With the spring semester wrapping up, Ole Miss fans can already look forward to a fall filled with plenty of chances to catch the Rebel volleyball squad in action, as the team released its 2019 home schedule Friday.

Ole Miss begins its 2019 campaign hosting three postseason teams from a year ago in NIVC Champions Iowa State and 2018 NCAA Tournament participants UCF and Rice in the Rebel Invitational August 30-Sept. 1.

The Rebels will open the weekend with 2018 Conference USA Champions Rice at 6 p.m. on Friday, and then a matinee matchup with Iowa State at 11 a.m. Saturday. The tournament concludes with the Rebs hosting UCF Sunday at noon.

After three consecutive weekends on the road, Ole Miss returns to the Gillom Athletics Performance Center to begin SEC play, facing another 2018 NCAA Tournament participant in Tennessee on Friday, Sept. 27.

After another three conference matches on the road, the Rebs return home for a three-match stint, welcoming Auburn, Arkansas, and Texas A&M. Ole Miss will face the Razorbacks and Aggies again on the road later in the season.

A split weekend in late October has the Rebels hosting reigning league champions Kentucky on Sunday, October 27, and then welcoming another pair of 2018 NCAA Tournament foes in Florida and South Carolina the weekend of November 8-10.

The Rebels will stay home to welcome Georgia for a Friday night faceoff on Nov. 15, and then wrap up their home campaign on November 27, welcoming Missouri in another split week.

Ole Miss will release its full 2019 schedule Tuesday, May 7.
