Game Halted in Bottom of the First with Ole Miss Leading 1-0

ATHENS, Ga. – Ole Miss got off to a fast start in Game Two at Georgia, taking a 1-0 lead after the first half inning of play. However, shortly after rain and lightning in the area halted the game and play was unable to be resumed, causing the contest to be postponed until Sunday at 10 a.m. CT.

The game will pick up right where it left off, with two outs recorded in the Rebels' defensive half of the frame, with a 2-2 count on the board. After Game Two is concluded, the series finale will begin at 12:30 p.m.
