Six Rebels Score, Stackpole, O’Connor Net Braces

CONWAY, Ark. – A late first half flurry got Ole Miss rolling and the Rebels rode the momentum to a dominating 8-1 win at Central Arkansas on Friday.

Six different Rebels found the back of the net, with Haleigh Stackpole and Mo O'Connor both netting braces to lift Ole Miss to a comfortable win.

Stackpole got scoring for the evening in the 33rd minute started taking a short pass from Jillian Rhian near the top of the 18-yard box and floating a shot over the outstretched hands of the UCA keeper and into the netting.

Just seven minutes later, the Rebel lead was three thanks to a pair of goals in quick succession. O'Connor doubled the advantage in the 38th minute off of a Lonnie Mulligan assist, with Rhian adding a third in the 40th minute.

Taking a 3-0 advantage into halftime, Ole Miss kept up the energy in the second half. Stackpole netted a brace in the 59th minute, finishing another Rhian feed in front of goal. The Rebels continued to pressure and broke through again in the 71st minute, with Channing Foster getting in on the action.

For the second time on the night, the Rebels scored twice in a three-minute span to bring the score to 7-0 on goals from Madison Smith and O'Connor in the 80th and 82nd minute. After the Bears pulled one back, Jenna Kemp found the corner with a long distance shot to bring the score to 8-1 and close out action for the night.
