NFL Rebels Update: Week 2

Metcalf Catches First NFL Touchdown
OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year and there are currently 25 former Rebels on NFL rosters, including two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and 2019 second round draft picks Greg Little, A.J. Brown, and D.K. Metcalf.
Metcalf had the best week among the NFL Rebels, catching his first-career touchdown to help the Seahawks solidify a big win over the Steelers on Sunday afternoon.
Overall, 19 played in the second week of the 2019 season. Here's a rundown of how each NFL Rebel performed:
#38 Brandon Bolden | RB | New England Patriots
Did not play.
#11 A.J. Brown | WR | Tennessee Titans
Followed up his strong week one with three receptions for 25 yards in the 19-17 close loss to the Colts.
#98 Fadol Brown | DE | Green Bay Packers
Played six snaps on defense and four on special teams in the 21-16 victory over the Vikings.
#16 Cody Core | WR | New York Giants
After being held without a catch in his Giants debut, he bounced back and caught three passes for 28 yards in the 28-14 loss to the Bills.
#88 Evan Engram | TE | New York Giants
Continued his strong momentum from week one by catching six passes for 48 yards in the 28-14 loss to the Bills. He currently ranks third among NFL tight ends with 164 receiving yards this season.
#98 Marquis Haynes | DE | Carolina Panthers
Recorded four tackles in the 20-14 loss to the Buccaneers on Thursday night.
#28 Mike Hilton | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Made four tackles in the 28-26 loss to the Seahawks, bringing his total to nine on the season.
#64 John Jerry | G | Cincinnati Bengals
Played 47 snaps at guard in the 41-17 loss to the 49ers.
#93 D.J. Jones | DT | San Francisco 49ers
Played 13 snaps on special teams in the 41-17 victory over the Bengals.
#6 Chad Kelly | QB | Indianapolis Colts
Did not play.
#88 Dawson Knox | TE | Buffalo Bills
Caught one pass for 18 yards in the 28-14 victory over the Giants. He also made a massive block that helped the Bills score an important touchdown which can be seen here.
#74 Greg Little | OT | Carolina Panthers
Did not play.
#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants
Completed 26 of 45 passes for 250 yards and one touchdown in the 28-14 loss to the Bills. He ranks seventh in NFL history in passing yards (56,537) and eighth in passing touchdowns (362).
#70 Bobby Massie | OT | Chicago Bears
Played all 61 offensive snaps as the starting tackle in the 16-14 victory over the Broncos.
#14 D.K. Metcalf | WR | Seattle Seahawks
Caught three passes for 61 yards, including his first NFL touchdown in the 28-26 victory over the Steelers.
#11 Donte Moncrief | WR | Pittsburgh Steelers
Appeared in the 28-26 loss to the Seahawks.
#49 C.J. Moore | S | Detroit Lions
Played 19 snaps on special teams in the 13-10 victory over the Chargers.

#20 Jordan Wilkins | RB | Indianapolis Colts
Ran for 82 yards on just five carries, including a 55-yard rush, in the 19-17 victory over the Titans. The 2018 fifth round draft pick has received just 65 carries in his NFL career, but has made the most of them by rushing for 418 yards (6.4 yards per carry).
