NFL Rebels Update: Week 3

Engram, Knox Catch Touchdown Passes

OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year and there are currently 25 Rebels on NFL rosters, including two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and 2019 second round draft picks Greg Little, A.J. Brown, and D.K. Metcalf.
 
Dawson Knox and Evan Engram had the biggest weeks among the NFL Rebels. Knox hauled in his first career touchdown, while Engram caught six passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. In addition to them, 2019 second round pick Greg Little made his NFL debut for the Panthers.
 
Overall, 17 of them played in the third week of the 2019 season. Here's a rundown of how each NFL Rebel performed:
 
#38 Brandon Bolden | RB | New England Patriots
Caught two passes for 21 yards and rushed twice for -2 yards in the 30-14 victory over the Jets.
 
#11 A.J. Brown | WR | Tennessee Titans
Caught one pass for four yards in the 20-7 Thursday night loss to the Jaguars.

#98 Fadol Brown | DE | Green Bay Packers
Played seven snaps on defense and four snaps on special teams in the 27-16 victory over the Broncos.

#16 Cody Core | WR | New York Giants
Played on offense and special teams in the 32-31 comeback victory over the Buccaneers.

#88 Evan Engram | TE | New York Giants
Caught six passes for 113 yards including a one-handed grab and a 75-yard touchdown in the 32-31 comeback victory over the Buccaneers. He currently ranks second among NFL tight ends and eighth overall in receiving yards (277) on the season.

#98 Marquis Haynes | DE | Carolina Panthers
Recorded two tackles in the 38-20 victory over the Cardinals.

#28 Mike Hilton | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Made four tackles in the 24-20 loss to the 49ers.
 
#64 John Jerry | G | Cincinnati Bengals
Played three snaps on special teams in the 21-17 loss to the Bills.
 
#93 D.J. Jones | DT | San Francisco 49ers
Made three tackles in the 24-20 victory over the Steelers.
 
#6 Chad Kelly | QB | Indianapolis Colts
Did not play.
 
#88 Dawson Knox | TE | Buffalo Bills
Caught three passes for 67 yards including his first-career touchdown and a 49-yard reception where he trucked several defenders. He also received one carry for nine yards in the 21-17 victory over the Bengals.
 
#74 Greg Little | OT | Carolina Panthers
Made his NFL debut, playing 32 of 63 snaps on offense in addition to six snaps on special teams in the 38-20 victory over the Cardinals.

#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants

#14 D.K. Metcalf | WR | Seattle Seahawks
Caught two passes for 67 yards including a 54-yard bomb in the 33-27 loss to the Saints.

Played 22 snaps on special teams in the 27-24 victory over the Eagles.
