NFL Rebels Update: Week 9

Three Former Rebels Score Touchdowns
OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year, and there are currently 23 former Rebels on NFL rosters, including star second-year wide receivers A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf.
Brown, Metcalf and Evan Engram all found the end zone on Sunday, hauling in touchdown receptions. Overall, 12 of them played in week nine of the 2020 season. Here's a rundown of how each NFL Rebel performed:
#11 A.J. Brown | WR | Tennessee Titans
Led the Titans with four catches for 101 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown in the 24-17 win over the Bears. It marked the second time Brown has topped the 100-yard receiving mark in a game this season.
#88 Evan Engram | TE | New York Giants
Caught five passes for 48 yards and laid out in the end zone for a 16-yard touchdown in the Giants' 23-20 victory over the Washington Football Team.
#38 Myles Hartsfield | CB | Carolina Panthers
Appeared on six defensive snaps and recovered a fumble on the final play of the second quarter in the 33-31 loss to the Chiefs.
#98 Marquis Haynes | DE | Carolina Panthers
Lined up at defensive end on 26 snaps, recording one tackle and a quarterback pressure in the 33-31 loss to the Chiefs.
#28 Mike Hilton | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Hilton was listed as inactive with a shoulder injury.
#93 D.J. Jones | DT | San Francisco 49ers
Started at defensive tackle and played 33 snaps in the 34-17 loss to the Packers.
#88 Dawson Knox | TE | Buffalo Bills
Saw action on 25 snaps in the Bills' 44-34 win over the Seahawks.
#74 Greg Little | OT | Carolina Panthers
Appeared on 15 snaps as a reserve left tackle in the 33-31 loss to the Chiefs.
#14 D.K. Metcalf | WR | Seattle Seahawks
Led the Seahawks, catching seven passes for 108 yards and a touchdown in the 44-34 loss to the Bills. Metcalf leads the team with 788 receiving yards and eight scores this season.
#49 C.J. Moore | S | Detroit Lions
Saw action on 23 snaps on special teams in the 34-20 loss to the Vikings.
#78 Laremy Tunsil | OT | Houston Texans
Started at left tackle and played all 64 snaps in the 27-25 win over Jacksonville.
#35 Ken Webster | CB | San Francisco 49ers
Appeared on 18 snaps on special teams in the 34-17 loss to the Packers.
#20 Jordan Wilkins | RB | Indianapolis Colts
Led the Colts in rushing for the second consecutive week. Totaled 39 yards on 11 carries and caught two passes in the 24-10 loss to the Ravens.
