Ole Miss Obtains First Class of 2021 Commitment

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss women's tennis welcomes Ludmila Kareisová to Oxford by way of Liberec, Czechia. She will begin competing for Ole Miss in the Fall 2021 season.
 
Kareisová boasts an impressive resume as a junior. In August 2019, she reached No. 1237 in the WTA and No. 651 in the ITF Junior rankings. Currently, Kareisová is the No. 740 amateur in the world. In 2020, Kareisová has accumulated a 13-7 overall record. In January, Kareisová won nine consecutive matches to claim the J4 Oberpullendorf girls singles title in Austria.
 
Kareisová joins three other Czech natives on the Ole Miss roster, all of whom are seniors: Tereza Janatova, Sabina Machalova, and Anna Vrbenska. Kareisová will graduate in May 2021 from Gymnázium Olomouc Čajkovského 9 in Olomouc, Czechia. She studied English, Czech, theory of physical education and geography in high school.
