Ole Miss will travel compete three weekends in October under the COVID-19 revised fall format
OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss Women's Tennis has released its fall competition schedule for the 2020 season, as announced by head coach Mark Beyers Friday.
The Rebels are set to compete in three team events, as permitted by the Southeastern Conference. Opponents will be conference members or non-conference teams from the geographic region.
Play begins in early October, as Ole Miss travels to Nashville, Tenn., for the Vanderbilt Fall Invite (Oct. 9-11). From there, the Rebs will make a two-hour trip to Starkville for the Mississippi State Fall Invite the following weekend, and conclude their fall slate with the Alabama Fall Invite in Tuscaloosa on Oct. 23-25.
All tournaments are subject to change pending the ongoing coronavirus pandemic situation.
A wealth of experience returns for the Rebels between the redshirt senior trio Alexa Bortles, Tereza Janatova, and Anna Vrbenska, redshirt junior Sabina Machalova, and sophomores Grace Anne Jones, Tiphanie Fiquet, and Kelsey Mize. The squad also welcomes four newcomers to the roster.
