NFL Rebels Update: Divisional Round

Knox and Bills Advance to AFC Title Game
OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year, and there are currently 25 former Rebels on NFL rosters, including star second-year wide receivers A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf.
This season, a total of seven former Rebels and their teams earned a spot in the playoffs. In the Wild Card round, Brown, Metcalf and Dawson Knox combined to score four touchdowns, but ultimately only Knox and the Bills advanced.
On a frigid Saturday night in Buffalo, New York, Knox and the Bills faced the Baltimore Ravens. The tight end lined up on nearly 80 percent of the team's offensive snaps, catching two passes for 18 yards, including a crucial 14-yard grab on third down to keep a touchdown drive alive. The Bills went on to win 17-3, advancing to the AFC Championship where they will face off against the Chiefs.
Knox will suit up for the Bills on Sunday as they continue their Super Bowl run in Kansas City. The game will kick off at 5:40 p.m. CT and will be televised on CBS.
