Rebels to Compete in 18 Events, Including ITA National Team Indoors
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss women's tennis sets forth for the 2021 season, announcing a spring schedule which includes 15 dual matches, two tournaments and one hidden dual competition.
Ole Miss returns to action Saturday, January 16th in the Mississippi State Spring Invitational. The Rebels will then compete in the ITA National Team Indoors (Jan. 22-23), followed by two non-conference and thirteen SEC dual matches.
The Rebels will first compete at home versus Memphis on Tuesday, Feb. 2. The women's tennis team will have eight home matches and 10 away events this season. Ole Miss will face all 13 SEC opponents in the spring 2021 season opening conference play on Feb. 18 at Missouri.
The Rebels will start off the SEC season competing primarily on the road. The team will be away from Oxford for six of its first eight conference matches. On the backend of the schedule, Ole Miss will conclude with four of the last five matches at home. The first home match against an SEC opponent will be on Feb. 26 against Georgia.
The 2021 SEC tennis schedule will include two conference-wide bye weeks when make-up matches will be played if needed (March 15-21 and April 12-18). The 2021 SEC Women's Tennis Championship will occur from April 19-23 at The University of Alabama Tennis Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
