Rebels to Travel to Provo in 2028, Host Cougars in 2029
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss football is scheduled to play a future home-and-home series against BYU, as announced by both schools on Monday.
Ole Miss will travel to Provo, Utah, to face the Cougars on Sept. 16, 2028. The Rebels will then host BYU the following year on Sept. 8, 2029 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
This will be just the second meeting between the two teams on the football field. Ole Miss hosted BYU in the 2011 season opener with the Cougars rallying in the fourth quarter to earn a 14-13 win over the Rebels in Oxford.
Ole Miss is 3-2 all-time against current NCAA FBS independents; Army, BYU, Liberty, New Mexico State, Notre Dame, UConn and UMass. Ole Miss is also scheduled to host independent Liberty in 2021.
