Finn Reynolds and Tim Sandkaulen Named 2021 ITA All-Americans

Reynolds and Sandkaulen Earn Back-to-Back All-American Honors
TEMPE, Ariz. – Ole Miss' Finn Reynolds and Tim Sandkaulen have been named to the 2021 ITA All-America Team after concluding the 2021 season as the No. 1 overall team in the nation as released by the ITA office on Monday. Reynolds was also named an All-American in singles, earning the prestigious award in both disciplines.
Reynolds and Sandkaulen both earn their second career All-American honors after earning the recognition in 2021 and 2020. Reynolds and Sandkaulen are the 14th and 15th Rebels to earn multiple All-American accolades in their Ole Miss careers. The Rebels have had 31 All-Americans in program history.
In order to receive ITA All-America doubles recognition a team must earn a top-eight seed into the NCAA Championships, reach at least the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships or finish in the top 10 of the final national rankings. Reynolds and Sandkaulen received the recognition by earning the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Doubles Championships and also finished the season ranked No. 1 in the country.
The Rebels' No. 1 duo spent 11 consecutive weeks ranked No. 1 in the Oracle/ITA rankings from March 24 through the final poll released on June 2. The Rebels' duo finished the 2021 season 16 positions better than their final 2020 ranking of No. 17.
Reynolds and Sandkaulen compiled an overall record of 16-3 this season. They reached the Round of 16 in the NCAA Doubles Championships after defeating Wake Forests' No. 12 Eduardo Nava and Henri Squire, 6-4, 7-5, in the first round on May 24 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. The Rebels' tandem earned an 8-2 record versus ranked opponents and ended the 2021 season winning 10 of their final 11 decisions. Both Rebels earned 2021 All-SEC First Team honors this season as well and had a stellar 7-1 record in conference play.
Reynolds also earns All-American honors in singles after receiving a top-16 seed in the NCAA Singles Championships and concluding the season ranked in the Oracle/ITA Top 20. Reynolds reached the NCAA Round of 32 Round of 32 after defeating BYU's Sean Hill 6-3, 6-3, in the first round on May 22. He earned an overall record of 12-11 this season and won eight singles matches versus ranked opponents including three victories versus top-15 players. Reynolds concluded the 2021 season ranked No. 17 in the nation in the final Oracle/ITA poll released on June 2. Reynolds is one of nine student-athletes to receive both singles and doubles All-American distinctions.
