Women’s Cross Country No. 15, Men No. 20 in Week Two USTFCCCA Rankings

Rebels Back in Action at Notre Dame on Oct. 1
NEW ORLEANS – Ole Miss women's cross country sits at No. 15 while the Rebel men rank No. 20 in the Week Two USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
This is the 30th time both Ole Miss squads have been ranked simultaneously, as well as the sixth in a row dating back to the end of the 2020 season.
This is the sixth straight appearance in the national poll for the Ole Miss women, who have now appeared in the USTFCCCA rankings 31 times in their history. Ole Miss has at least been receiving votes in 23 of the last 24 women's polls dating back to 2018 and 40 of the last 43 back to 2016.
Meanwhile, this is the 48th total appearance for the Rebel men and their 42nd in a row dating back to the 2016 preseason. Additionally, Ole Miss has ranked in 48 of the last 51 men's polls going back to 2014 and have at least received votes in 51 of the last 53 also back to 2014. The Rebel men are in the midst of an even better streak as well, as this week constitutes their 20th consecutive appearance within the top-20 of the national poll.
Ole Miss is coming off a bombastic women's team win at the North Alabama Showcase on Sept. 17, which featured an individual win by Skylar Boogerd and a 70-point team win helped by five Rebel scorers within the top-seven in the 5K. The Rebel men took fourth in the team race at UNA last week, led by an 11th-place finish by Dalton Hengst.
The Rebel men and women return to action next Friday (Oct. 1) at Notre Dame for the Joe Piane Invitational.
