Rebels Claim Top Spot in CRCA Poll in Back-to-Back Weeks

OXFORD, Miss. – Following a record-setting performance in the 4743-4670 win over Memphis the season, Ole Miss rifle earned the No. 1 ranking in the nation in week eight College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Poll. The Rebels held onto the top spot this week after not competing.
 
It marks the third time the Rebels have ever ranked No. 1 nationally in program history. The Rebels first ranked No. 1 in 2020 and did so twice in one season.
 
Ole Miss turned in a top-10 aggregated score in the nation this season and bested its previous program record of 4737 with a 4743. The Rebels also tied the program match record for smallbore with a mark of 2361.
 
The nation's top team returns to action Nov. 19, taking on reigning national champions in Kentucky at home.
