Men’s Tennis Caps Off Fall Season at ITA Fall National Championships

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Ole Miss men's tennis wrapped up their 2023 fall season on Friday at the ITA Fall National Championships being played at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.

Nikola Slavic and Lukas Engelhardt went 1-2 in doubles over the week to finish the fall season 10-5 as a pair.

The duo wasn't able to capture a win on the first day after falling to Pepperdine's Edward Winter and Maxi Homberg, 6-1, 7-6 (6) to move into the consolation bracket.

The next day, Slavic and Engelhardt picked up a 6-3, 7-6 (2), victory over Andras Necz and Maximillian from Montana State. The pair dropped their last match against Duke's Andrew Zhang and Michael Heller, 6-4, 6-4, in the consolation quarterfinals.

The Rebels now await the start of their 2024 spring dual season, with an official opening match date to be announced at a later date.
