OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE NET
Tennessee
The Volunteers rank No. 14 in the nation with a 16-4 overall record and a 9-2 SEC record. After suffering its two SEC losses against No. 4 Georgia and No. 2 Texas A&M, the team holds a three-match win streak, taking down No. 43 LSU, No. 17 Florida, and No. 25 South Carolina. Tennessee's roster is comprised of four players with 20-plus singles wins. The Volunteers are led by No. 21 Elza Tomase and No. 26 Rebeka Mertena, playing at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions. Tomase, a sophomore, is 20-15 overall, and Mertena, a fifth-year senior, is 21-13 overall. Daria Kuczer, a fifth-year senior, is ranked No. 39 in singles with a 20-6 record. Although not ranked, Lauren Anzalotta was a huge transfer pickup from Tyler JC, compiling a 21-12 singles record. The team has struggled in doubles with no pairings with an above .500 SEC record. However, Mertena and Estehr Adesha are ranked No. 40 with a 9-9 overall record and a 4-4 SEC record. Tennessee finishes its regular season in Mississippi against Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Georgia
The Bulldogs are currently the fourth-best team in the nation because of their 17-4 overall record and 10-1 SEC record. Georgia's only SEC loss was to No. 2 Texas A&M on April 2. The team has won two straight against No. 27 South Carolina and No. 17 Florida. Georgia's success comes from both the veterans and underclassmen. The roster includes four players with 20-plus singles wins, five ranked singles players, and two ranked doubles pairings. Lea Ma has been locked down at the No. 1 singles position with an overall singles record of 27-4 and 9-1 in the SEC. The senior is ranked as the third-best singles player in the nation. Right behind Ma, ranked at No. 5, is Dasha Vidmanova, with a 28-5. No. 66 Mell Reasco is ranked in both singles and doubles. Reasco is 18-6 in singles and 19-6 in doubles. Senior No. 125 Meg Kowalski joins the sophomore in the 51st-ranked doubles team in the nation with a 17-6 record. Mai Nirundorn and Guillermina Grant are ranked higher at No. 38 with a 15-9 record. Georgia wraps up their regular season in Mississippi, first with Mississippi State and then Ole Miss for their final match.

REBS IN THE RANKINGS
Despite losing two matches in singles to No. 2 Mary Stoiana and No. 22 Anastasiya Komar, sophomore Kareisova moved back up to No. 62 in the latest ITA Singles Ranking. Kareisova is 11-5 in dual singles and 6-5 against ranked opponents. The Czechia native's 10-2 record at No. 2 singles moved her into the top singles position. She will likely face No. 3 Lea Ma on Friday and No. 21 Elsa Tomase on Sunday.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME
The Rebels are 7-3 at home this season and have a combined 153-88 record in the last 20 years.
