Football Set for 2023 SEC Media Days

Head Coach Lane Kiffin to be Joined by Cedric Johnson, Quinshon Judkins and Deantre Prince

OXFORD, Miss.Lane Kiffin, Cedric Johnson, Quinshon Judkins and Deantre Prince will represent Ole Miss tomorrow during its slot at the 2023 SEC Media Days in Nashville, Tennessee.
 
The Rebels will appear in the morning of the Day Four festivities in Nashville on Thursday, beginning with head coach Lane Kiffin's live press conference at approximately 9 a.m. CT on SEC Network. Kiffin is then tentatively scheduled for additional live appearances on SEC Network, SiriusXM and SportsCenter throughout the morning.
 
Johnson, a preseason All-SEC first-team selection by Phil Steele, enters 2023 as Ole Miss' active career leader in sacks at 13.5. Johnson has started 19 games in his Rebel career, all within the last two seasons as one of Ole Miss' primary pass rushers. Johnson tallied 4.0 sacks for the Rebels last season, as well as a blocked punt at Georgia Tech – becoming the first Rebel to both record a sack and block a punt in a game since 2012.
 
Judkins, a preseason All-America honoree by multiple outlets, is coming off a historic freshman season in 2022, during which he was named CBS' National Freshman of the Year, On3's Offensive True Freshman of the Year, the SEC Newcomer and SEC Freshman of the Year, as well as a first-team Freshman All-American by three different publications. Last season, Judkins set the Ole Miss single-season records in both rushing yards (1,567) and rushing touchdowns (16), and ended the year ranked national top-10 in rushing yards (No. 7), rushing touchdowns (No. 10) and total touchdowns with 17 (No. 10).
 
Prince, a preseason fourth-team All-SEC selection by Athlon, enters 2023 as Ole Miss' active career leader in interceptions with five. In his Rebel career, Prince has started in 23 games and recorded 15 total pass breakups along with his five picks for 20 total passes defended. Prince was a key member of the Rebel defense in 2022, starting in all 13 games and recording 11 pass breakups.
