After vacated wins, Alabama holds a 58-10-2 series lead, including an 11-4 advantage in games played in Oxford and a 30-2 lead in Tuscaloosa.
• Alabama's records show the Crimson Tide now with a 56-11-2 record, but they count the Alabama win in 1993 that was later ruled a forfeit, as well as Ole Miss' win in 2014 that was vacated by the Rebels, but still applies to the Tide's record.

• TE Caden Prieskorn recorded his first catch as a Rebel on the first offensive play of the game for a 21-yard gain.
• WR Zakhari Franklin hauled in his first catch at Ole Miss for a 16-yard gain in the first quarter … Franklin, who missed the first three games due to injury, entered 2023 as the FBS active career leader in receptions and No. 2 in yards.
DEFENSIVE NOTES |
• CB Zamari Walton picked off a pass into the endzone in the second quarter for his first interception as a Rebel, the fourth of his career … Walton tallied an Ole Miss career-high five tackles.
• DT Jamond Gordon recorded his first career sack for a loss of four yards.
• S Ladarius Tennison sacked Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe to force a field goal in the second quarter, his first sack of the season and second of his career.
• LB Ashanti Cistrunk led the Rebels with a season-high eight tackles, including four solo.
• S John Saunders Jr. recorded seven tackles, his most in an Ole Miss uniform.
• DE Jared Ivey recorded a career-high six tackles, including a tackle for loss of six yards.
