Ole Miss Sets Men’s Basketball Attendance Record

OXFORD, Miss. – As the fan support for Ole Miss men's basketball continues to grow, the attendance records continue to fall at the SJB Pavilion.
Rebel fans set the all-time program attendance record Tuesday night as 10,630 fans were on hand to see Chris Beard's squad top in-state rival Mississippi State, 86-82, and improve to 18-3 on the season.
The win was the 13th consecutive home win for Ole Miss, and the 12th straight at the SJB Pavilion, also setting a facility record.
The 10,630 attendance number broke the previous mark of 9,500, and it came just one week after Ole Miss broke its student attendance record in a win over Arkansas.
The new total attendance record could be short-lived. Ole Miss has already announced a sellout for Saturday's meeting with No. 16 Auburn.
