Football Notches Highest Final AP Top 25 Ranking Since 1969

OXFORD, Miss. – Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels won 11 games for the first time in program history, and now they have their best final AP Top 25 ranking since 1969.
The final AP Top 25 poll for the 2023-24 season was released this week after the College Football Playoff championship game, and the nation's sports writers voted the Rebels No. 9, their highest final AP poll ranking since 1969 when they finished eighth.
The No. 9 ranking in both polls marks the best and first top-10 finish for Ole Miss in the Kiffin era. It is the 12th time the Rebels have finished the season in the top 10, and just the second time since 1969.
