AUBURN, Ala. – Four members of Ole Miss' women's tennis team punched their ticket to the quarterfinals at the ITA Southern Regionals on Saturday.

Day two started with a bang, with two doubles pairs advancing to the quarterfinals and four Rebels into the Sweet 16.

Rachel Krzyzak and Emma Kette continued their hot streak as they defeated Ana Rodrigues and Zoie Epps, 8-6. Not far behind, the dynamic duo of Ludmila Kareisová and Anaëlle Leclercq-Ficher took down SLU's Bente Bierma and Leana Gomez, 8-4, to send them to the quarterfinals on Sunday.

Lucie Petruzelova came away with two singles wins, advancing to the quarterfinal round. The Charlotte transfer began her day by defeating Tulane's Brooke Theis in straight sets. Petruzelova made a statement in the Sweet 16 round against Auburn's Alice Battesi, besting her opponent 6-4, 6-1. She plays DJ Bennett on Sunday morning.

In the round of 32, Leclercq-Ficher notched a win against Mississippi State's Chiara Di Genova in dominant fashion, 6-1, 6-1.

Two more Rebels secured a victory, each in straight sets to advance to the top 16. Kareisová and Kette each knocked down a member of North Alabama's roster. Kareisová bested Eeva Ristola 6-1, 6-3, while Kette defeated Stanislava Bobrovnikova, 6-4, 6-4.

In the consolation bracket, Krzyzak moved onto the round of 16 to play again on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Brooklyn Olson and Petruzelova fell short in their doubles matchup against LSU.

Three Rebels also dropped their respective matches later in the day, concluding their time in the main draw.

The doubles quarterfinals will start day three on Sunday at 9 a.m. CT, followed by the singles quarterfinals at 10:30 a.m. CT.
