BATON ROUGE, La.- The Ole Miss men's tennis team continued their run in Tigerland on Friday and added two doubles victories to the books. Noah Schlagenhauf proved his upperclassman mentality and notched the lone two singles wins on the day for the Rebels.

Schlagenhauf and Matthieu Chambonniere got the day rolling for Ole Miss by earning a dominant 8-2 win over Alberto Altur and Birtan Duran from North Alabama. The junior pair of Isac Strömberg and Gordon Whitwell kept the morning rolling by defeating Ishaan Ravichander and Brock Anderson from LSU, 8-5. These wins will advance both Ole Miss duos to the doubles round of sixteen which will be played Saturday.

Loan Lestir and Benjamin Martin squared off against Mississippi State's Mario Martinez Serrano and Niccolo Baroni. The French duo fought hard, but ultimately dropped their match, 8-3, concluding their time on the doubles courts in Baton Rouge.

In singles, Strömberg competed against Mississippi State's Niccolo Baroni to begin the afternoon for the Rebels. The junior stayed competitive but fell, 7-5, 6-3, to his opponent which concluded his time on the singles courts in Baton Rouge.

Chammbonniere fought hard against Javier Montoya from South Alabama, but dropped his match, 7-5, 6-2, to conclude his singles run. Lestir proved his competitive edge against UAB's Noah Malige by forcing three sets, but ultimately fell to Malige, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(5).
