WILMINGTON, N.C. – Ole Miss women's golf concluded its 2024 fall season at the Landfall Tradition on Sunday, as the Rebels secured another top-5 finish after earning fourth place at the Country Club of Landfall.

On a cloudy day that none of the 17 teams competing in the event shot over-par, the Rebels had one of the best appearances on the Dye Course as they went 8-over to end their weekend with a scorecard of 866 (+2). Ole Miss finishes its time in North Carolina ranked second in the field in par-3 scoring (+7) and in birdies (50).

Securing her second top-15 individual finish this season, Nicole Gal led the way for the Rebels after shooting a final 18-hole score of 74 (+2) to go even on the weekend and earn a share of 13th place.

Leading the field with 16 birdies, Caitlyn Macnab was not far behind after shooting 5-over on the final day to bring her overall score to 217 (+1). Tying for 17th place, the senior finished in the top-20 individually in all four tournaments this fall.

After a slow start to the weekend, Sophie Linder bounced back and was one of only seven student-athletes in the 96 individual field to shoot under-par on the final day. Going spotless in the sophomore's first 15 holes, Linder strung together a third-round score of 71 (-1) to end the weekend 4-over and in a tie for 27th.

Rounding out the lineup for the Rebels was Kajsalotta Svarvar and Filippa Sundquist who each capped off the weekend 5-over and 8-over, respectively. Svarvar earned a tie for 32nd while Sundquist will come away with a share for 48th.

The Rebels will take a well-deserved three-month break from competing as they prepare for the spring portion of the season, starting with the Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 2-4 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
