10/5/2024 | Football
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss football head coach Lane Kiffin has hit the century mark for his career, notching his 100th win on Saturday in a 27-3 victory at South Carolina.
Of Kiffin's 100 wins, 39 have come at Ole Miss with the Rebels holding a 39-16 record during his tenure in Oxford. Kiffin recorded 26 wins in three seasons at Florida Atlantic, 28 during his stint at USC and seven in his first year as a collegiate head coach at Tennessee. His career record stands at 100-50.
Kiffin is in his 13th season as a college head coach. His teams have finished .500 or better in 11 of 12 seasons thus far, and the Rebels need just two more wins to guarantee that mark once again. Kiffin's teams have finished with 10-plus wins in six of his 12 seasons as a head coach, including twice at Ole Miss.
Kiffin – in his fifth season at the helm for the Rebels – has led Ole Miss to four consecutive bowl berths, including two New Year's Six appearances since coming to Oxford in 2020.
Kiffin led the 2023 Rebels to the best season in Ole Miss history in terms of wins, notching an 11-2 overall record capped by a 38-25 Peach Bowl victory over Penn State. Kiffin owns the only two 10-win regular seasons in Ole Miss history, and alongside legendary coach John Vaught, is one of two Rebel coaches with multiple 10-win seasons overall.
