Volleyball Signs Five on National Signing Day

OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss volleyball program has inked five on National Signing Day, signing Bella Bonanno, Caroline Ellis, Annabelle De Jager, Keirstyn Carlton and Carly Paugh. The five will join the program for the 2025 regular season.
"I am very excited for this large and impactful class," said head coach Bre Henry. "I cannot wait to have them on campus and in the gym, learning and continuing to build on the culture that is being created here at Ole Miss."
Bella Bonanno
Height: 5'4"
Position: Libero/Defensive Specialist
Hometown/High School: Fayetteville, Arkansas/Shiloh Christian School
Club: Ozark Juniors
A highly accomplished dual athlete in volleyball and soccer, Bonanno leaves a legacy as one of the top athletes in the state of Arkansas. Bonanno is the all-time leader in Arkansas history in total digs and ranks second all-time in the state in service aces. Awards have stacked up for Bonanno, who is a four-time All-State, All-Conference and All-State tournament team honoree, who has also added All-Area, All-Prep and the AVCA Best and Brightest Award First Team among her countless honors. Additionally, Bonanno has led her high school to four conference titles and two state finals. A three-time All-State honoree in soccer, Bonanno plans to enroll early after registering a 4.0 GPA across her entire high school career.
Keirstyn Carlton
Height: 6'1"
Position: Middle Blocker
Hometown/High School: Stephenville, Texas/Stephenville High School
Club: Drive Nation
A versatile athlete, Carlton joins the Rebels after a decorated high school and club career. Carlton is a four-time team MVP and team captain, who has earned All-State and All-League honors over her career. Additionally, Carlton has led Stephenville to three district titles, while also competing as a track & field athlete.
Annabelle De Jager
Height: 6'0"
Position: Outside Hitter
Hometown/High School: Eaton, Colorado/Eaton High School
Club: NORCO Volleyball Club
Joining a list of highly accomplished Rebels from Colorado, De Jager heads to Oxford after a decorated high school career. De Jager is a 2023 All-State and All-Conference first team selection, who has tallied nearly 1,000 kills, 734 digs and 190 service aces, helping Eaton win three regional titles and reach the state's final four on two occasions. At NORCO Volleyball Club, De Jager helped the club finish 22nd in the country in 17 Open division at USAV Nationals. De Jager comes from an athletic family, as her father played football at Fresno State, while her mother played volleyball at Cal Poly.
Caroline Ellis
Height: 6'1"
Position: Outside Hitter
Hometown/High School: Stamford, Connecticut/King School
Club: Northeast Volleyball Club
A model of consistency her entire high school career, Ellis emerged as one of the top high school players in the state of Connecticut, holding a career hitting percentage of .303 while tallying 934 kills. A three-time NEPSAC and FAA champion, Ellis has been nominated to be the Gatorade Player of the Year in Connecticut and recorded countless honors, including two NEPSAC Player of the Year awards, three FAA All-League honors and two King Volleyball Most Valuable Player nods. Named a Top-150 PrepVolleyball player, Ellis has also been tabbed to the AVCA's Phenom Watch List for four consecutive seasons.
Carly Paugh
Height: 6'2"
Position: Middle Blocker
Hometown/High School: Willis, Texas/Willis High School
Club: TAV Houston
The second of two talented signees from Texas, Paugh comes to Oxford after recording yet another career-season in which she tallied 479 kills and 63 blocks. Paugh is a two-time first team All-District, who also excelled in her club career, where she was named TAV Houston 17's Offensive Player of the Year. A gifted student, Paugh was also a three-time academic All-District honoree and shined on the soccer pitch, where she was the District II 13-6A Co-Newcomer of the Year.
