Men’s Cross Country No. 27 in Pre-Championship USTFCCCA Poll

NEW ORLEANS – Ole Miss men's cross country returned to the national rankings on Monday, coming in at No. 27 in the final USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll released prior to the NCAA Championships this Saturday.
 
This marks the 62nd all-time appearance in the national cross country poll for the Rebel men, with all 62 rankings coming since the 2014 season.
 
Ole Miss is coming off a superb performance at the NCAA South Regional on Nov. 15, where the Rebel men earned an auto-bid to the national meet following a second-place team finish. Leading the charge were three All-Region finishes from Toby Gillen (sixth, 29:51.1), Elyas Ayyoub (seventh, 29:53.9) and Aiden Britt (13th, 30:25.8).
 
The No. 27 Ole Miss men, as well as All-Region women's senior Loral Winn, will run at the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Championships this Saturday, Nov. 23, at the University of Wisconsin. Uninterrupted coverage on ESPNU begins at 8:30 a.m. CT, with the women's championship 6K set for 9:20 a.m. CT and the men's championship 8K scheduled for 10:10 a.m. CT.
