Ole Miss Athletics Posts Record Fall Semester in Classroom

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss Athletics put together its best fall semester academically in recorded history, notching a 3.25 department grade point average for the Fall 2024 term.
 
This marks the 10th consecutive term that Ole Miss student-athletes have recorded a semester GPA of at least 3.0, and did so with a record number of individual 4.0 GPAs (15 percent of all student-athletes) and 17 team GPAs above 3.0. A total of 30 percent of Ole Miss student-athletes made the Chancellor's Honor Roll (3.75 or better), while 44 percent made the Dean's Honor Roll (3.50 or better).
 
Rifle (3.73) and men's cross country (3.46) led the way with their highest semester GPAs on record. Also setting overall records were men's basketball (3.40), baseball (3.30) and men's track (3.37), while softball registered its highest fall semester ever at a 3.65 team GPA.
