Women’s Tennis Travels to No. 30 Vanderbilt and No. 64 Kentucky

NASHVILLE, Tenn. / LEXINGTON, Ky. – After going 2-1 in a three-match home streak, Ole Miss women's tennis heads on the road to Nashville and Lexington. The Rebels will face off against No. 30 Vanderbilt on Friday, March 15, starting at 3 p.m. CT. Then, the team will travel to No. 64 Kentucky on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.

THE REBELS
Briana Crowley (Sr.) – Westfield, Ind.
- Ranked No. 79 alongside Ava Hraster in doubles
- Started the season 7-1 in dual-singles, 1-0 in SEC
- Joins the Rebels after three seasons at Northwestern
- Compiled a career singles record of 44-30 and a doubles record of 55-36
- Former Blue Chip five-star recruit
Lucie Devier (Sr.) – Etrechy, France
- Earned first dual doubles win at No. 1 doubles in win over Eastern Illinois
- Earned first singles win as a Rebel at the Roberta Alison Invitational
- Returns to Ole Miss after missing all last season
- Transferred from North Texas in 2022
Ava Hrastar (Sr.) – Duluth, Ga.
- Ranked No. 79 ITA ranking with Crowley
- Two-time NCAA Doubles Championship qualifier
- 2022 All-American and All-ACC Third Team honors
- Former five-star recruit, ranked 1st out of Georgia and 18th nationally
Ludmila Kareisová (Jr.) – Liberec, Czechia
- Entered the year ranked No. 42 in singles
- 2023 NCAA Singles Championships qualifier
- Named 2023 All-SEC Second Team
Emma Kette (So.) – Rammelsbach, Germany
- Started 6-0 in dual singles for the second straight season
- Finished 2023 with a 12-10 singles record and 11-9 doubles record
- Appeared in all 24 matches in the spring
Rachel Krzyzak (Jr.) – Milton, Ontario, Canada
- Tallied a 13-8 record on the season
- Career singles record of 38-32 and a doubles record of 24-35
Anaelle Leclercq-Ficher (Jr.) – La Perche, France
- Went 2-0 at No. 2 doubles and 2-0 at No. 4 singles against No. 34 LSU and No. 13 Texas A&M
- Clinched the win over No. 34 LSU, first Ole Miss ranked victory of the year
- Compiled 21 career singles wins and 31 career doubles victories
Kelsey Mize (Sr.) – Tulsa, Okla.
- Earned tenth doubles win of the season against Purdue
- Finished 2023 ranked No. 78 in doubles
- Accomplished 50 doubles wins and is top 30 in program history
Andrea Nova (Fr.) – Prague, Czechia
- Third straight Rebel freshman to win doubles and singles in her first match
- Joined by Mize, clinched doubles point in both opening weekend matches
- Comes to Ole Miss ranked as high as No. 298 in the ITF Junior Rankings
Reka Zadori (Sr.) – Szeged, Hungary
- Sits in 30th place on the Ole Miss all-time career singles wins list with 56
- Has a 57-44 career singles record and a 28-22 career doubles record
- Her 9-3 record at No. 6 singles was the best in the SEC in 2023
LAST TIME ON THE COURT
- Grabbed first-ranked win of the season over No. 34 LSU
- Leclercq-Ficher and Kareisova blow past their opponents, 6-1, on court two
- Secured doubles point with Crowley and Hrastar taking a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles
- Kette continued her undefeated streak with the only straight-set victory, 6-2, 6-1
- The Tigers tied it up, but Kareisova took back the lead with a win on court one
- Leclercq-Ficher put the cherry on top of a ranked win with a 1-6, 6-2, 6-4 win
- Against Texas A&M, Leclercq-Ficher and Kareisova extend their win streak to three
- Leclercq-Ficher wrapped up a perfect weekend with a 7-5, 1-6, 6-4 victory

- Kareisova earned her 40th overall doubles win in her career against No. 13 Texas A&M
- Krzyzak is two total singles wins from 40 in her career
- Leclercq-Fisher grabbed her 20th career singles and doubles victory of her career in the win over No. 34 LSU
- Zadori is four singles wins from 60 and tied for 27th in program history
- Zadori is two doubles wins away from 30 in her career
HEAD COACH MARK BEYERS
- Beyers is in his 23rd year coaching the Ole Miss women's tennis team
- He has compiled a 289-246 record with Ole Miss and a 339-254 career record
- Earned ITA South Region Coach of the Year in 2010, 2012, and 2018
- Led the team to seven NCAA Second Round appearances and one Sweet 16 appearance
- Coached the only Ole Miss NCAA Singles Champion, Arianne Hartono, eight All-Americans and 36 All-SEC players
OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE NET
Vanderbilt
With a good mix of ranked players, the Commodores have an overall record of 6-4 (1-2 SEC). Junior Celia-Belle Mohr leads the pack, their ace in Vanderbilt's lineup. She is 7-1 in dual singles and 7-3 in dual doubles on court one, alongside Anessa Lee. Bridget Stammel is just a little behind, typically in the two or three slots, with an overall 21-9 stand. A freshman-senior pairing in Valeria Ray and Holly Staff makes for an undefeated dual double so far, 6-0.
Kentucky
Across the board, the Wildcats are strong on the back end of their lineup. With a dominant slot six record of 7-2, sophomore Ellie Myers is also 1-0 on doubles three with Zoe Hammond. Rallying between courts three and four, Hammond is 7-1 in dual singles. The ranked duo of Elizabeth Stevens and Makayla Mills is 3-0 on court two and 0-3 in the first slot.

CLIMBING THE RANKINGS
After defeating No. 34 LSU for Ole Miss's first-ranked victory of the season, Ole Miss shot up the rankings, taking the Tigers' spot at No. 34 from No. 42. It marks the Rebels' highest ranking since February 16, 2022, when the team was also ranked 34th in the nation.
In the current standings, the Rebels have competed against six top-75 teams. In the six matchups, the Navy and Red took down No. 40 Baylor and No. 34 at home and No. 55 Purdue on the road. At home, the team battled against No. 38 Memphis and No. 24 Illinois away from Oxford and No. 13 Texas A&M.
HIGH FIVE
Ole Miss has five players with 10 or more overall singles wins on the season. Krzyzak leads the Rebels with 13. Crowley and Nova have 11, while Hrastar and Kette have 10. Zadori needs one more win in singles to add to the team's total.
Four Rebels have accumulated 10 or more doubles wins. Hrastar, Crowley, and Devier all have 11, while Kareisova has 10 even.
DEVIER OXFORD DEBUT
A long wait came to an end as Lucie Devier played in front of the Oxford crowd at Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center for the first time. The senior's opportunity came against the Eastern Illinois Panther, teaming up with fellow France native Leclercq-Ficher in doubles. At the No. 1 doubles position, Devier and Leclercq Ficher cruised to a 6-1 victory.
SOPHOMORE CAMPAIGN
Kette is off to a great start after a 12-7 freshman campaign in dual singles matches. The Germany native is a 6-1 after adding another win in the win over No. 34 LSU. Kette is also 2-1 in conference play.
