Ole Miss Football: Lane Kiffin Named Top 10 Coach to Watch in 2024

OXFORD, Miss. – ESPN recently dropped 10 lists of 10 for the 2024 college football season, and Ole Miss football head coach Lane Kiffin unsurprisingly was one of its top 10 coaches to watch in the coming campaign.
The Rebel head coach landed at No. 6 overall and No. 3 in the SEC behind Nick Saban's replacement at Alabama, Kalen DeBoer (No. 1), and Florida's Billy Napier (No. 3). Ohio State's Ryan Day came in at No. 2 as Ohio State looks to respond from rival Michigan winning it all. The Wolverines' new head man Sherrone Moore rounds out the top five behind Baylor's Dave Aranda.
"The Lane Train is never boring, but he recently has added more substance to the entertainment factor. After two AP top-12 finishes in the past three seasons, Ole Miss made a significant push in the portal/NIL space and should deliver a team capable of earning the school's first CFP berth," wrote the ESPN staff.
