Men’s Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Honors

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss men's tennis has been recognized as a 2024 ITA All-Academic Team, while Lukas Engelhardt and Nikola Slavic were named ITA Scholar Athletes by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Monday.
Ole Miss has garnered the team honor now 17 total times since first doing so in 1997, including 10 of the last 11 years. The Rebels are among 176 other Division I men's tennis programs to be honored as a team must have a 3.2 grade point average across the previous academic year to qualify.
The Rebel duo of Engelhardt and Slavic each secured their fourth individual distinction by earning at least a 3.5 GPA during the 2023-24 academic year. The two join 1,059 other Division I Men's student-athletes who were honored as a Scholar-Athlete.
