Brgoch, Washington Named to A-State Invitational All-Tournament Team

JONESBORO, Ark. – Ole Miss volleyball senior Payton Brgoch and junior Nia Washington have been tabbed to the A-State Invitational's All-Tournament Team, as announced at the conclusion of the event.

Brgoch and Washington were two of eight named to the All-Tournament Team, which two representatives from each of the four competing institutions.

Brgoch picked up right where she left off in 2023 with a big showing at the season-opening event, tallying 20 kills and a .300 hitting percentage, while adding a team-high 18 blocks. The Parker, Colo., native entered the top-10 all-time at Ole Miss in solo blocks and now sits at 53 in her career.

Washington shined for the Rebels over three games, matching Emma Ammerman for team-best 31 kills and a 2.82 kill per set ratio over three games. The New Orleans, La., native tallied back-to-back double-doubles against Arkansas State and SEMO, including a season-best 13 kills and 11 digs against the hosts.
