Women’s Tennis Concludes Day Two of Milwaukee Tennis Classic

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Ole Miss women's tennis ended day two of the Milwaukee Tennis Classic with a pair of wins on Saturday.
The day began with the pairing of Anaëlle Leclercq-Ficher and Ludmila Kareisová locked in a tight matchup against Oklahoma's Salakthip Ounmang and Roisin Gilheany. The teams were forced into a tie breaker, which the senior Rebels dropped 7(7)-6(2).
Followed directly after doubles, three Rebels took their respective courts in singles. Junior Emma Kette had a redemption match in the consolation bracket, and notched a win against Olivia Fermo 6-2, 6-1. With her win, she earned her 30th career victory as a Rebel.
Lucie Petruzelova claimed a dominant win in the consolation bracket against Maquette's Emma Davis 6-4, 6-0. Petruzelova earned her first win as a Rebel and 67th of her overall career.
Leclercq-Ficher fell short in both singles matches today, as Kareisová stepped out of the invitational due to injury during today's matchup.
The Rebels will start day three with Kette and Petruzelova kicking off in doubles at 9 a.m.
