Men’s Tennis Concludes Day One at Norman ITF

NORMAN, Okla. – Three Rebels of Ole Miss men's tennis advanced in the Norman ITF in Norman, Oklahoma, on Monday.
Four Rebels competed in the singles Qualifying Round of the Norman ITF.
Stefano D'Agostino started the day off for the Rebels, for he defeated Ashton Adesoro of Western Michigan by forfeit. Pietro Pampanin came out ready to go in singles and secured a, 6-3, 7-5, straight set win against Oklahoma State's Thomas Nicholas Gadecki.
Vlado Jankanj kept the momentum going for the Rebels, for he defeated Nathaniel Han, 4-6, 6-2, 10-6. All three freshmen will advance to the second round of the Qualifying Draw, which will take place Tuesday.
Senior Isac Strömberg was the fourth Rebel who competed today but ultimately came up short against Krish Arora of SMU, 6-3, 5-7, 10-8.
