No. 4 Men’s Golf Earns No. 3 Seed for East Lake Cup Match Play Bracket

ATLANTA – In a rain-soaked day in Atlanta, the No. 12/4 Ole Miss men's golf team finished third in the stroke play portion of the East Lake Cup. The Rebels posted (143, -1) and will take on the No. 2 seed Florida Gators in the match play semifinal Tuesday.
Monday's 18-hole stroke play portion was condensed to just nine holes due to a rain delay that pushed the start of play to 1:45 p.m. CT.
Daniel Tolf was first off for Ole Miss and carded a one-under round of 35. Tolf would par his first five holes before picking up a birdie on No. 6. He would finish with three more pars on his scorecard.
Cameron Tankersley would also post one-under par. After a one-over start, Tankersley would find back-to-back birdies to finish his day in red figures.
Tolf and Tankersley both finished T4 in the stroke play portion.
Cohen Trolio posted even par on the day, finishing T9. Michael La Sasso and Tom Fischer both shot one-over par.
The Rebels and Gators will square off beginning at 11:20 a.m. CT. Golf Channel will provide live coverage beginning at 2 p.m. CT.
