No. 3 Men’s Golf Completes Day One at Hamptons Intercollegiate

EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. – The No. 3 Ole Miss men's golf team sits second after one and a half rounds of action at the Hamptons Intercollegiate. Round two play was suspended Monday evening due to darkness.
All round two scores are unofficial until completion of the second round.
Ole Miss posted (285, -3) in round one with three Rebels posting scores of par or better.
Cameron Tankersley continued his strong play with an opening round of three-under 69. Tankersley would storm back after shooting three-over through nine holes with a six-under 31 on his back nine. He rattled off four birdies and an eagle over his final seven holes.
Cohen Trolio carded a round of two-under 70, taking advantage of the scorable back nine. He fired three birdies over his final eight holes.
Tom Fischer shot even par in his first round and Daniel Tolf would shoot two-over. Collins Trolio posted six-over in his first start in the lineup this season.
Ole Miss will resume second round action at 7:25 a.m. CT and will continue to the third round upon concluding the second.
