No. 3 Men’s Golf Finishes Third at Hamptons Intercollegiate

EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. – The No. 3 Ole Miss men's golf team finished third at the Hamptons Intercollegiate with a score of (865, +1). Cameron Tankersley, Cohen Trolio and Tom Fischer all finished inside the top 14 with Tankersley leading the way finishing tied for second.
The Rebels never found their stride in Tuesday's final round. Maidstone showed its teeth as Ole Miss posted (299, +11) as a team.
The low round of two-over 74 belonged to a pair of Rebels in Trolio and Fischer. Trolio finished T9 and Fischer finished the week at T14.
Cameron Tankersley finished his final round at three-over. He would shoot three-under for the tournament, good for a T2 finish. Tankersley now has two top five finishes this fall.
Daniel Tolf finished at (221, +5) and Collins Trolio shot (230, +14). Ole Miss has finished inside the top three in every tournament this fall.
The Rebels will return home and regroup for the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational, Oct. 18-20, in Biloxi, Mississippi. The Fallen Oak Course will be the site of the three-day event with Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Southern Miss set to host.
