SERIES INFORMATION
• This was the 122nd meeting in one of the nation's most-played rivalries … Ole Miss holds a 67-49-6 edge on the field dating back to 1901, including a 25-15-3 mark in Starkville.
• This game was the 98th "Battle of the Golden Egg" since the two schools started playing for the trophy in 1927 … Ole Miss leads 61-30-5 in the Egg Bowl.
• After vacated wins, the series now stands at 67-47-6 in favor of Ole Miss … The Rebels had wins in 2012 & 2014 vacated due to NCAA ruling, while Mississippi State forfeited wins in 1976 & 1977.
• Ole Miss has now won three Egg Bowls in a row, the first such streak for the Rebels since 2002-04 and the first by either team in the rivalry since State took three in a row from 2009-11.
• The road team has now won seven of the last 11 in the series … Prior from 2004-14, the home teams went 9-2.

GENERAL NOTES
• Today's attendance was 60,417.
• This is the first 11-win regular season in Ole Miss football history, and it stands alongside only the 11-2 campaign in 2023 as the lone two 11-win seasons overall … The 2023 squad earned its 11th victory in the 2023 Peach Bowl over Penn State.
• Ole Miss is now 50-14 since the start of the 2021 season, making it one of only seven FBS programs with 50 wins in that span – one of only two in the SEC behind Georgia (63) and Alabama (54).
 
OFFENSIVE NOTES
• Ole Miss tallied 545 yards of total offense and 359 passing yards, the most by the Rebels in the Egg Bowl in both categories since 2020 (550 total, 387 passing).
• QB Trinidad Chambliss had his best passing performance as a Rebel with 359 yards and four touchdowns on a 23-of-34 passing line, his seventh 300-yard passing game in 10 starts this season … Chambliss also had 26 rushing yards, giving him 385 yards of total offense.
• Chambliss has moved into 10th on the Ole Miss single-season list in total offense (3,486) and 11th in passing yards (3,016) … Chambliss is the seventh Ole Miss QB to ever throw for 3,000 yards in one season.
• In his overall career, Chambliss today surpassed the 8,000-yard mark in total offense (8,064) and the 6,000-yard mark in passing (6,271).
• RB Kewan Lacy had 143 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries, his 20th rushing score of the season that already ties him for ninth in Ole Miss career history.
• Lacy is the first Rebel ever with 20 rushing TD in a season and is now one of only 12 rushers in SEC history to do so … He is currently tied with Alabama QB Jalen Milroe (2024), Arkansas RB Alex Collins (2015) and Auburn QB Cam Newton (2010) for ninth on the SEC single-season list.
• Lacy is also now one of only 23 in SEC history with 20 all-purpose touchdowns in a season.
• On the Ole Miss single-season lists after today, Lacy has moved up to third in rushing yards (1,279), rushing attempts (258) and points scored (120) … Lacy is also tied for the second-most 100-yard rushing games in a season at Ole Miss (6).
• WR Deuce Alexander's 88-yard receiving touchdown from Chambliss is the longest touchdown pass in Ole Miss history, is tied for the longest pass overall and is the longest ever by the Rebels against an SEC team … The prior longest pass in program history was an 88-yard strike from Jevan Snead to Mike Wallace vs. ULM in 2008, while the prior longest touchdown pass was an 86-yarder from Jevan Snead to Shay Hodge at Florida in 2008.
• WR De'Zhaun Stribling hauled in two touchdowns against MSU, giving him five touchdowns on the season and his first multi-TD game since Sept. 14, 2024 against Tulsa when he was at Oklahoma State … Stribling finished with four catches for 66 yards and those two scores.
• WR Harrison Wallace III finished with four catches for 72 yards and one TD, his first since Sept. 13 vs. Arkansas.
• WR Cayden Lee led the Rebels with seven catches for 77 yards.
 
DEFENSIVE NOTES
• LB TJ Dottery and S Kapena Gushiken tied for the team lead with nine total tackles, a career-high for Gushiken.
• DE Princewill Umanmielen hauled in his first career interception along with a sack, giving him a team-leading 6.5 on the season … He is the second player this season to record one sack and an interception in a game, the other being Zxavian Harris against Georgia State on Aug. 30, 2025.
• DE Da'shawn Womack had a career-high 2.0 TFL and also dropped MSU's quarterback Kamario Taylor for a solo sack, his second of the season. 
• DT Will Echoles smothered MSU's Taylor for Ole Miss's second sack of the game, giving Echoles 4.5 on the year … Echoles also had 2.0 TFL.
 
SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• K Lucas Carneiro went 1-of-2 on field goals, with his make coming from 43 yards out … Combined with his five PATs, Carneiro holds 114 points scored this season, good for fifth overall and fourth among kickers in Ole Miss single-season history.
• Carneiro's five PATs also has him tied for fifth in Ole Miss single-season history with 48 on the year.
• P Oscar Bird punted three times at an average of 45.0 per attempt, pinning two inside the 20 with a long of 50.
