Children's of Mississippi Kid Coach: Tucker Jones

Kid Coach is a partnership between Children's of Mississippi and the Ole Miss Rebels to salute pediatric patients. Their inspirational stories remind us just how truly courageous these young people are.
This week's Children's of Mississippi Kid Coach is Tucker Jones of Brandon, MS.
One night when he was about 18 months old, Tucker woke up with severe stomach pain. Nothing consoled him, so at 1 a.m. his family took him to the pediatric emergency room at Children's of Mississippi Hospital. After several tests and CTS scans, doctors discovered he had a rotated intestine. By 5 a.m., he was in surgery to remove the damaged tissue.
Now 13 years old, Tucker is doing great, with only a few limitations in his diet. He plays travel baseball, and he loves hunting and fishing, hanging out with his friends and playing Fortnite. And he is a huge Ole Miss fan!
