SUNSET, S.C. – After playing the second round and half of the third, the No. 14/15 Ole Miss women's golf team currently sits in seventh at the Clemson Invitational.

The Rebels carded a team score of 6-under, 282, in round two at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. Following round two, all teams played their front nine of round three and will wrap play Sunday finishing the remainder of the final round.

Caitlyn Macnab led the way for Ole Miss posting a second round score of 67 (-5). It was a gritty performance from the Johannesburg, South Africa, native as she carded six birdies and one eagle. She began her round going 3-under over her first three holes. She would eagle the par 5 No. 11 and followed that with a birdie on 12. She would drop a shot on the par 4 13th, but bounced back closing out her front nine with back-to-back birdies.

Macnab would pick up another stroke on the par 4 No. 1 to get her back nine rolling. Macnab would birdie two of her final three holes to make her the outright leader at (-8) after 36 holes of play.

Kajsalotta Svarvar posted a bogey-free second round score of 3-under, 69, getting her back to even par for the tournament. Svarvar began her day on the par 3 No. 12 where she opened with a birdie. She would add another at No. 1 and again at the par 3 No. 4. It marked her sixth round in red figures on the season.

Sophie Linder shot even par in round two, tallying four birdies in her second round. Linder's second round got off to a rocky start with back-to-back bogeys on the first two holes, but the sophomore from Carthage, Tennessee, rebounded to make birdie at No. 17 and 18 right before the turn to get back to even. After two bogeys and two birdies in her final nine holes, Linder finished round two at even par.

Filippa Sundquist and Nicole Gal rounded out action for the Rebels, shooting a 74 and 75 respectively. Sundquist entered round three tied for 64th (+7, 151), while Gal was tied for 68th (+8, 152).

As a team, Ole Miss tallied 17 birdies and one eagle in round two. Their score of 6-under was the fourth lowest team score on the afternoon.

To begin round three, Macnab would eagle the par 5 No. 11 for the second straight round. On the week, she is 5-under on 11 with two eagles and a birdie. She would get to 11-under for the tourney after a birdie at the par 4, No. 18, placing her in second with nine holes to play Sunday.

Linder would get hot in round three for Ole Miss as well, birding five of her final six holes on the day. She would go back-to-back first on No. 14 and 15, then finished her round with three straight as she sits 4-under through nine in her final round.

Svarvar also sits in red figures in round three for Ole Miss. She carded two birdies and is 2-under for the tournament heading into Sunday's final nine.

The third and final round will resume Sunday at 8 a.m. CT and scores will remain unofficial until the conclusion of play.
