No. 18 Women’s Golf Readies for SEC Championship

BELLEAIR, Fla. – The Ole Miss women's golf team will open up postseason play this week at the 2025 SEC Championship, with the tournament set to run April 14-18, at Pelican Golf Club, in Belleair, Florida.
The tournament will feature all 16 SEC teams competing in three rounds of stroke play to determine the SEC individual champion and tournament seeding. The top eight teams from stroke play will then move forward into the match play bracket, which will be played out Thursday and Friday until a team champion is crowned.
Thursday's match play semifinals will air on SECN+, while the championship match on Friday will be televised live on SEC Network.

The Rebels head to Florida coming in at No. 18 in the Scoreboard rankings powered by Clippd and No. 19 in the Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll. The team is led by Macnab who sits in the No. 30 slot for individual rankings. Gal and Svarvar also all find themselves placed in the top 200 college golfers across the country, being ranked No. 83 and No. 146 respectively.
THE COURSE
The Pelican Golf Club is designed with inspiration from Donald Ross' original layout, plays at a par 70, 6,243 yards, and features lush greenery, undulating terrain, and crushed quartz sand. Every detail has been artfully designed and planned to perfection. The course is the first location on the west coast of Florida to have Latitude 36 Bermudagrass on all fairways, ensuring gorgeous grounds all season long. It was designed with uninterrupted rough with greens and tees maintained at the highest levels.
LAST TIME OUT
Ole Miss finished seventh in its regular season finale at the Clemson Invitational just two weeks ago. Caitlyn Macnab tallied three rounds in the red, to finish the tourney with a third place finish at 12-under (204). Kajsalotta Svarvar also tallied a top-25 finish, posting a 4-under, 212, to tie for 24th.
