No. 20 Women’s Golf Tied for Third After Day One in Canada

AURORA, ONTARIO, Canada – The No. 20 Ole Miss women's golf team posted (290, +2) and sit tied for third after day one at the inaugural Canadian Collegiate Invitational.
Due to inclement weather Monday, teams were only able to complete round one. The originally scheduled 54-hole event will now be two rounds with Tuesday's final round beginning at 8 a.m. CT.
Sophie Linder had the low round of the day for Ole Miss with a two-under 70. After a one-over 37 on the front, Linder carded a bogey-free 33 on the back to shoot three-under coming in. The Carthage, Tennessee native sits T6 with 18 holes to play.
Nicole Gal was strong in her return home with a round of one-under 71. The Oakville, Ontario product is T11 heading into the final round. Matilda Björkman grinded out even par 72 Monday and is inside the top 15 after round one.
Mary Miller, Filippa Sundquist and Kajsalotta Svarvar all carded over par rounds.
