No. 5 Men’s Golf Tied for Third After Two Rounds in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 5 Ole Miss men's golf team posted (273, -7) in round two of the Visit Knoxville Collegiate and sit T3 after 36 holes of play. Cohen Trolio had the low round among the field on Saturday shooting seven-under 63.
Trolio started fast with birdies on four of his first five holes. He would tally five birdies on his front nine, going out in 31. Trolio would follow suit on his back nine with five more birdies. The round of seven-under tied Trolio's career low 18-hole score which he set back in 2023 at the Golfweek Collegiate Kickoff.
The West Point, Mississippi native is one back of the leaders heading into Sunday.
Tom Fischer posted four-under 66 and is T16 after two rounds in Knoxville. Fischer tallied five birdies on the day to just one bogey on the card.
Finn Meister had a bounce back day, shooting three-under 67 in his second collegiate round. The Tucson, Arizona native is competing as an individual this week and carded six birdies on the day.
Daniel Tolf, Cameron Tankersley and Collins Trolio all carded rounds of (72, +2).
