SERIES INFORMATION
• This was the 50th meeting all-time between Ole Miss and Georgia, the first ever in the postseason … UGA leads the series 35-14-1 on the field.
• This was also only the eighth ranked meeting ever between the Rebels and Bulldogs, and the third with both teams ranked in the top-10 … UGA leads ranked meetings 5-2.
 
BOWL HISTORY
• With today's victory, Ole Miss is off to its first ever Fiesta Bowl to square off against Miami (12-2) … All-time, the Rebels lead the Hurricanes 2-1 with all three meetings at Miami in the regular season in 1936 (W, 14-0), 1940 (W, 21-7) and 1951 (L, 20-7).
• At seven Sugar Bowl victories, Ole Miss now stands behind only Alabama (10) in all-time wins in the prestigious bowl game.
• This was Ole Miss 43rd bowl appearance in program history, and its 11th berth in the Sugar Bowl … The Rebels are now 7-4 all-time in the Sugar Bowl, and their 11 appearances rank behind only Alabama (17), Georgia (13) and LSU (13).
• The Sugar Bowl is Ole Miss' most-visited bowl game ahead of five appearances each in the Cotton and Independence bowls.
• Ole Miss' all-time bowl record on the field now stands at 28-15 (.651), which includes a vacated win in the 2013 BBVA Compass Bowl vs. Pitt.
• Entering this season, Ole Miss' .643 winning percentage ranked tied for this nationally, while its 27 wins ranked tied for 11th and its 42 appearances tied for 22nd.
• Ole Miss is now 14-4 in its last 18 bowl games dating back to the 1997 Motor City Bowl.

• OL Jayden Williams is Ole Miss' active career leader in starts, making his 33rd today at right tackle.
• LB TJ Dottery and LT Diego Pounds made their 23rd consecutive starts at Ole Miss, which leads all active Rebels.
 
GENERAL NOTES
• Today's attendance was 68,371.
• This marks the first 14-game campaign in 131 seasons of Ole Miss Football.
• At 13-1, this marks the first 13-win season in Ole Miss history … The 2025 Rebels were also the first to post an 11-win regular season and a 12-win season overall.
• Ole Miss is now 4-1 against the 12-team CFP field this season, the most such wins of any team in the field.
• Prior to tonight's matchup, Georgia had won 53 straight games when leading at halftime and 75 straight when leading entering the fourth quarter, both of which were the longest active FBS streak.
 
OFFENSIVE NOTES
• Ole Miss tallied 473 total yards (362 passing, 111 rushing), breaking the single-season program record at 6,947 yards … The prior record was 6,845 set by the 2024 squad.
• The Rebels' four touchdowns tonight give Ole Miss 62 this year, second-most all-time behind 68 by the 2015 team.
• Ole Miss' 362 passing yards push the Rebels to 4,423 this season, second-most all-time behind a record 4,561 set in 2024.
• In both matchups against Georgia this season the Rebels offensive line allowed zero sacks, the last time Georgia had zero sacks against the same opponent twice in a row was against Missouri (2016 and 2017).
• Offensive MVP QB Trinidad Chambliss threw for 362 yards, on 30-for-46 passing and two touchdowns, the second-most passing yards ever by a Rebel in a bowl game.
• Chambliss is now the owner of the fifth longest streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass in Ole Miss history (12), and his 3,660 yards this year currently rank fifth in single-season school history.
• RB Kewan Lacy had 98 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries, giving him 23 rushing scores this year and pushing him into a tie for third in SEC single-season history.
• Lacy also broke Ole Miss single-season records in rushing attempts (295) and total points (138).
• WR Harrison Wallace III had career-highs in receptions (9) and receiving yards (156), as well as a touchdown through the air … Wallace's 156 yards are an Ole Miss bowl record.

• Wallace III and De'Zhaun Stribling (122) each broke the century mark for receiving against the Bulldogs … Last time a pair of Ole Miss receivers had at least 100 yards receiving was last season against Arkansas (Jordan Watkins and Cayden Lee).
 
DEFENSIVE NOTES
• Ole Miss had 9.0 tackles for loss, a season-high against power conference opponents.
• DT Zxavian Harris had a career-high 10 tackles, surpassing his previous best of seven … Five of his tackles were solo and he added pass breakup.
• LB Suntarine Perkins finished with six tackles, including a strip-sack and fumble recovery in the fourth quarter … He has now forced three fumbles this season, which marks back-to-back seasons in which Ole Miss has had a player force that many fumbles (John Saunders Jr., 2024).
• Perkins also moved into a tie for eighth in Ole Miss career history, with his solo sack now giving him 17.0 in his three years with the Rebels … His 2.0 TFL also move him into 11th in Ole Miss career history.
• DT Will Echoles earned Sugar Bowl Defensive Player of the Game with five tackles, two for loss, and two pass breakouts.
• DE Kam Franklin had a solo sack, giving him 5.0 this season.
• LB Princewill Umanmielen tied a career-high with seven total tackles, including a half TFL.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• K Lucas Carneiro went 3-for-3 on field goals and 2-for-2 on PATs, giving him both single-season records in field goals made (27) and points kicking (136).
• Carneiro's first two field goals of the day set Sugar Bowl records … His first attempt of 55 yards set the record, and his second of 56 reset it once more … He now holds the second- and third-longest converted field goal attempts in CFP history.
• Carneiro's 56-yarder is tied for the fifth-longest in Ole Miss history … He is one of only two kickers in Ole Miss history with two 50-plus yard field goals in the same game, the other being Jonathan Nichols vs. Vanderbilt in 2003.
• Carneiro is the only kicker in Ole Miss history with three field goals of at least 54 yards across a career, and the first to do so multiple times in the same season (let alone same game).
• Carneiro's second 50-plus-yard field goal in the first quarter was the ninth of his career, he is 9-for-10, 90% for his career from 50+.
