Men’s Tennis Falls to No. 2 Texas

OXFORD, Miss. – The No. 24 Ole Miss men's tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss to No. 2 Texas on Thursday afternoon at the Palmer/Salloum Outdoor Tennis Center.
Texas (19-6, 10-2 SEC) struck first after winning the doubles point. In Singles, Texas continued its dominance as it went on to win three straight singles courts to clinch the match against Ole Miss (16-7, 4-7 SEC).
The final three singles matches went unfinished. No. 77 Stefano D'Agostino would be tied, 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (7-5) against No. 31 Kalin Ivanovski. Vlado Jankanj would trail in his match as it went unfinished.
Noah Schlagenhauf was the third match left unfinished, and he would be leading, 6-2, 5-6, against Jonah Braswell.
The Rebels will take the home court again on April 4 to face No. 48 Tennessee. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center.
