Women’s Basketball Inks Jade Tillman to 2026-27 Roster

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss women's basketball head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin continues to finalize her reload for the 2026-27 campaign, signing Jade Tillman, a forward from UMBC, on Thursday.

"Jade has great size, skill, and toughness," said McPhee-McCuin. "Her former coaches have done a great job preparing her to play at our level and her physicality and two-way ability fits the mold of Ole Miss players who have had tremendous impact in the SEC and beyond. We are grateful to have her join us here in Oxford."

Averaging 15.8 points and 7.4 rebounds in her lone season with the Retrievers, Tillman was named the America East Newcomer of the Year and an All-America East First Team honoree. The 6-foot-1 forward scored in double figures in 28 games, including the final 25 of the season. She was named to the 2026 Air Force Reserve America East All-Tournament Team after her incredible performance in the conference tournament, including a 30 point-10 rebound game, becoming just the second player in 20 seasons at UMBC to achieve that feat.

Tillman spent her sophomore and freshman seasons at East Carolina, where she appeared in 50 total games, recording 90 points, 88 rebounds, 16 assists, 12 blocks and 17 steals over her two years.

A Rockville, Maryland, native, Tillman led Good Counsel high school to the WCAC championship game as a freshman. She was rated a 90-overall recruit by ESPN and earned Second Team All-WCAC honors as a junior.

Joining Maya Anderson, Jaida Civil, Talaysia Cooper, Knisha Godfrey, Emily Howard, Rachael Okokoh, Jada Richard, and Doneelah Washington as the ninth addition for the Rebels out of the transfer portal, along with returners Desrae Kyles and Lauren Jacobs, Ole Miss currently has eleven student-athletes on its 2026-27 roster.
