Men’s Tennis Will Cap Off Its Regular Season with Pair of Home Matches

OXFORD, Miss.– No. 25 Ole Miss Men's Tennis is set to close out its regular season with two top 25 matchups at home, with the first being against No. 19 Auburn, before closing out the season against No. 22 Kentucky.
The Rebels (17-7, 5-7 SEC) are coming off a victory against Tennessee and will look to continue building on their momentum as they finish up the regular season. The Rebels feature two ranked singles players, No. 79 Stefano D'Agostino and No. 117 Matthieu Chambonniere, along with a ranked doubles pair, No. 25 Isac Stromberg and Kai Milburn.
Ole Miss will face No. 19 Auburn (15-8, SEC 5-7) first on Friday, April 10, at 3 p.m. Auburn brings two ranked singles players, No. 23 Amirkhamza Nasridinov and No. 66 Billy Blayes, as well as the No. 12 doubles pair, Billy Blades and Freddy Blaydes.
The Rebels will then host No. 22 Kentucky (15-10, SEC 5-7) on Sunday, April 12, at 12 p.m. Before the match against the Wildcats, Ole Miss seniors Isac Stromberg, Noah Schlagenhauf and Gordon Whitwell will be recognized for their senior day.
Kentucky features four ranked singles players: No. 20 Eli Stephenson, No. 78 Jack Loutit, No. 80 Nicolas Arseneault, and No. 97 Charlelie Cosnet. The Wildcats also bring two ranked doubles pairings, No. 16 Eli Stephensen and Jack Loutit, and No. 89 Martin Breysach and Charlelie Cosnet.
With only two regular-season matchups, it will be critical for Ole Miss to improve its SEC standings before postseason competition.
