BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference released their preseason coaches' all-conference selections on Wednesday, honoring Ole Miss with eight total spots among the first, second, and third teams.

The same seven players given all-SEC preseason honors by the media in July were each selected to the identical teams by the coaches, as quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, running back Kewan Lacy, and defensive lineman Will Echoles were named to the first team.

Linebacker Suntarine Perkins was named to the preseason all-SEC second team, as Lucas Carneiro joined him on the list at both place kicker and kickoff specialist. Offensive lineman Patrick Kutas and defensive lineman Kam Franklin were each named to the third team.

Coming off a College Football Playoff semifinal appearance a season ago, the Ole Miss football team is set to kickoff the 2026 season on Sunday, September 6 against Louisville at 6:30 p.m. CT at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
