Tim Boeni enters his eighth season as the strength and conditioning coach under Ole Miss head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin for the 2025-26 season.
Boeni served under McPhee-McCuin for three years at Jacksonville, where he was part of the program turnaround that included three straight 20-win seasons and an NCAA Tournament berth. At JU, Boeni was also in charge of baseball and men’s rowing, and he assisted with the football program.
“Tim was part of our championship run at Jacksonville and was a key part in building the program there,” McPhee-McCuin said. “He understands my philosophy and is a vital piece to the puzzle as we build a championship culture here at Ole Miss. The ladies love his energy, and he is able to get the best out of them every day.”
Prior to Jacksonville, he served as a volunteer assistant track and field coach at Monmouth University working with jumpers (2011-2013). Before Monmouth, he served as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater, Temple University, working with the sprints and jumps (2010-2011). He has also served as a performance specialist at several private facilities.
During his athletic career at Temple, Boeni was a three-time qualifier for the USA Track & Field Championships, finishing fourth indoors in 2013 in the long jump. He was the 2010 Atlantic 10 Indoor Field Performer of the Year, as well as the 2010 IC4A champion in the long jump – one of the oldest track meets in the United States that exclusively includes schools from the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Boeni was a six-time A-10 all-conference honoree, and he set the A-10 outdoor record in the long jump at 25 feet, 2.75 inches. He holds an overall PR of 25 feet, eight inches, and he was also part of Temple’s school-record 4x100-meter relay team at 40.42 seconds.
Boeni holds certifications through NSCA (CSCS), CSCCa (SCCC), NASM (PES and CES), USATF (Level 1), NASE (Speed Specialist Level II) and is a Certified Sprint Specialist through the USTFCCCA.
Boeni received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Temple University in 2010 and earned his master’s in exercise science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2015.
